FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OHODO, ENUGU STATE (FEDPOD) CONGRATULATES NEW REGISTRAR
The Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of the Federal Polytechnic Ohodo, Enugu State (FEDPOD), warmly congratulate the newly appointed Registrar of the Polytechnic, Dr. Obini Onuchukwu, on his assumption of office following a successful handover ceremony held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Registrar’s Office.
Dr. Obini Onuchukwu formally took over from the outgoing pioneer Registrar, Barr. (Mrs) Eze-Ali Grace Ogba, marking a significant transition in the administrative leadership of the institution.
A seasoned administrator and accomplished communication scholar, Dr. Obini brings to the office a wealth of experience spanning over two decades in higher education administration, Public Relations, and institutional governance. Prior to his appointment, he served meritoriously in various capacities, including Acting Registrar, Director of Special Duties/Administration, and Deputy Registrar, of the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State, as well as held a strategic position at the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), to mention but a few.
He holds a PhD in Mass Communication, alongside multiple academic and professional qualifications, and is a Fellow and member of several reputable professional bodies. His career is distinguished by numerous awards, leadership roles, and contributions to policy, administration, and academic development.
Management of the Federal Polytechnic Ohodo expresses confidence in his capacity to consolidate on existing gains and further strengthen the administrative framework of the Institution.
Dr. Obini who hails from Ohaozara LGA of Ebonyi State, is happily married and blessed with children.
The entire Polytechnic community wishes him a successful and impactful tenure in office.
