The Bursar is the Chief Financial Adviser and administrator of the Polytechnic. Bursar reports all day to day financial activities of the institution to the Rector.

Bursar’s job description includes management of the Institution’s financial resources,  budgeting and  planning,  ensures compliance with Financial regulations and reports same to the Rector.

The Bursar oversees the accounting functions and processes, such as maintaining financial records, prepares financial statements, and manage all the Polytechnic Assets both current and Non current .

The Bursar prepares periodic reports and submits to Rector. She monitors budget performance, and make recommendations to the Rector for budget adjustments where and when necessary.

The Bursar ensures adherence to procurement policies, compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards are in line with best practices and reports  same to the Rector.

The Bursar manages the Institutional Cash flows, investments, employee Payroll, benefits, deductions, dictate variances and ensures accurate and timely payroll processing.

The  Bursar also conducts cost and productivity analysis, and is in charge of  students receivable fees.

The Bursar performs any other duties as may be duly assigned by the Rector.
