EBONYI STAFF ASSOCIATION AT FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OHODO PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR RECTOR
In a significant show of solidarity, the Ebonyi State Staff Association of Federal Polytechnic Ohodo, Enugu State (FEDPOD), recently paid a courtesy visit to the institution’s Rector, Dr. Ediri Emmanuel Agada, at his office.
The visit marked an important moment, as the association formally introduced itself to the Rector and the Management team, emphasizing its role and commitment to the well-being of both staff and students. Dr. Cornelius Ogayi, leader of the delegation, commended Dr. Ediri for fostering an enabling environment for academic excellence and for implementing various staff-focused initiatives. He further expressed the association’s gratitude for the appointment of one of their own to the esteemed position of Deputy Rector.
Dr. Ogayi also highlighted the association’s plans to support the institution’s growth, including their ongoing promotional efforts to raise awareness of FEDPOD and enhance its reputation. The association pledged to continue its efforts, working alongside Management to make the Polytechnic a beacon of excellence.
In his response, Dr. Ediri Emmanuel warmly welcomed the team, expressing appreciation for their dedication and collaboration. He emphasized the importance of unity among individuals from similar backgrounds, noting that such efforts play a vital role in the success of the institution.
A key highlight of the visit was the presentation of a unique 3D wall clock to the Rector by the association, symbolizing their support and partnership. The event was also attended by the principal officers of the Polytechnic.
