The Registry section of the Institution is headed by the Registrar.
The Registrar reports to the Rector directly. The Registrar is charged with the responsibility of managing the day-to-day activities of some administrative units for effective operation of the Polytechnic.
Her Office could be seen as the Engine Room of the Institution.
The duties of the Registrar cut across both the academic and non-academic sectors.
She is the Secretary to both the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management Committees and the Congregation and renders support services to such statutory formations.
Personnel matters, Students’ admissions/enrollments, conducting registrations and graduation requirements as well as signing of Certificates are part of the duties of the Office of the Registrar.
She takes charge of keeping statutory and other relevant records of the Institution.
Keeping custody of the Polytechnic Seal.
Interprets and applies rules and regulations of the Polytechnic.
Performing any other duties as may be duly assigned.
