The Polytechnic Librarian is responsible for the smooth running of the Polytechnic Library and reports to the Rector.

He oversees the day-to-day operations of the library, including staffing, scheduling, and managing library facilities and equipment.

He is in-charge of framing Library policies, general management of the Institution library and resources.

He is responsible for selecting and acquiring library materials, including books, journals, digital resources, and other educational materials, in line with the curriculum and the needs of students and faculties.

Oversees the implementation and maintenance of library technology, including library systems, software, and databases.

Develops and implements library policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and compliance with institutional guidelines.

He performs other duties that may be assigned by the Rector.
